Yew Naksu, who founded the enterprise came from an unlikely background. Originally from a rural mountain of relative poverty and without much formal education, he stumbled upon full-time professional fighting at a young age.
Yew became the first professional Muay Thai fighter in Thailand with mixed Taiwanese heritage, and to win a title belt. This led to him receiving fight contracts globally, and he subsequently captured more belts in both the domestic and international circuits.
Over the years, Yew amassed a small fortune through his sporting career but still maintained a frugal lifestyle. In his spare time, he moonlighted in many part-time jobs and tested out business ideas. He failed, he pivoted and he pressed on with the same tenacity, resilience and perseverance that define him as a sportsman until one project caught fire.
When he single-handedly built a small self-funded company from scratch, he did not expect it to grow into what it is today. Having been all over the world, he relocated to Singapore and established his base of operations.
Yew values integrity, leads by example and favors a laissez-faire management style. He defines himself as social entrepreneur who prioritize positive social impact over profit maximization in order to uplift the lives of the marginalized.
Outside of work, Yew continues to live a simple, quiet and low-profile life away from the public eye. He prefers to spend his free time in solitude with philosophical contemplation. Despite seemingly outgoing, he generally does not enjoy socializing, but cherishes the human connection he has with an intimate few.
